Hi

I've tried to launch the 1.04 retail version's trainer for Dragon age : Origin/Awakening (on windows 7) but it crashes during the authetification process.

IE is not installed (been removed a while ago, AV/Firewall is disabled, windows defender disabled and still it is crashing. This is the only trainer crashing like this (even the DA2 trainer doesn't crash).

I dit all of this, rechecked, and all No internet explorer 10 on my computer... before that, all of my trainers were crashing. Now, only DA:O/awakening does.

Ok that crash is related to what version of IE is in your system.

If you have not read the thread below. Read the first post in it as it contains some more information.

None, There is no trace of IE on my system, every trace of IE (wether it be 10 or 11, or any other) has been removed. And all my other trainers are working.

That's the weird thing.

So, now that I've tried again, the trainer launches, but when I launch the game, the game crashes.

I've checked the version (retail 1.04), tried it with the origin and awakening trainer... still crashes.

Well you are going to need to put IE9 on your system wether you like it or not heck even if you do not use it for that matter. The trainers are known to use features from IE9 as a minimum even the newer versions. This is the only other thing I can point out that can be causing the issue.

DAO will not run with IE10 or IE11 it needs IE9 minimum!

But its strange that the others are working with out any trace of IE on your system. But as I have stated that you are going to need to put IE9 on your system. To see if that fixes the issue.

Also what platform are you using for the game? I ask this as the trainers do not work with the Origin Platform version.
