i had 7zip installed aswell
just uninstalled it, fully, using a program that scans for installation leftovers ect.

also uninstalled winrar again, re-installed it

and still nothing

5.0.1 x64 from rarlab.com

so far only winzip 18 and 7zip can extract it, for some reason god knows why winrar cant for me

Will be some conflict from the others being installed, even uninstalling them they may have left system files behind.

i even scanned with registery tools for broken class id's ect and sotried sorting it that way but didnt matter either

winzip or 7zip instantly work flawless after installing, also with uninstalling, its instantly not associated anymore

just with winrar ..nothing :S

oh well, i gues that means bye bye winrar for me
gues ill stick to 7zip as it only uses up 1
rule in the rightclick menu and can expend upon that
never liked winrar using 3-4 lines instantly

well i download it and when i tried to install it it wouldnt do anything it just gets stuck a the second sceen
so i was woundering if i download the wrong one

that would have nothing to do with the download then, but an local issue
