I could not help but no noticethat when you download a trainer, it is no longer .zip or .rar as before (i think it was one of those atleast) but its not an zipx file, which is basicly zip but a different compressions style

why?


i can still extract them, but only after i download new software thats capable of supporting it, as regular winrar does not

I have to investigate this....

I think I know why it is to stop Chrome from wrongly stopping the downloads saying they are evil.

with .zipx files they can't scan them and do it.

The files are clean, just Chrome sees them as something else.

Also WinRAR works fine for me for opening them.

Downside is, you MUST have winzip to be able to extract it

Extract with 7Zip. For me working.

I just tried re-downloading and re-installing the latest winrar, and it doesnt pick it up, no zipx support.

You must have winzip it seems.

also, not using chrome here, and if i would, it would make no difference

Cause you have something on your system that is causing a conflict?

Which version of Winrar do you have?
