For those interested in increasing stars there are values stored in /documents/KillHouseGames/DoorKickers named:
stats.xml
unlocked.xml

It logs each mission you do under the stats.xml so once you do it you can go back and just change the "Stars value" to 3 for each mission until you get the amount you want. Then spend the points on equipment and unlocked equipment is saved to unlocked.xml. From this point you can either attempt to manually enter anything you want in or you can unlock the item, adding it then to that files list, and then edit that file. Change the value "numStarsUsed" to 0 and the item will be unlocked still but you are refunded your stars to spend again. Quick note, seems it can unequip your unlocked items when doing this but they remain unlocked, you simply need to reequip them and you are golden.

Hope this helps some that want to add just a few (or a lot) of stars to get some nice gear fast.

Quick Note: Probably common sense but worth noting that you should probably exit the game when you go to edit values. Not sure if you can edit and have the game see it while it is open as I did not try it but it loads fast so meh.

Update: Apparently you can give yourself thousands of points per mission in the stats.xml so you really only need one mission there and you can put whatever amount you want.

hmm i'm not sure if it's just me but the infinite health doesn't seem to be working along with the unlimited grenades...anyone else having an issue?

Everytime i run the mission in-game with trainer activated, game crashes. I have steam version.

Trainer crashes game. I was using non-steam version before, now using via Steam (10/24 patch) and once any cheat is activated the game freezes. Let me know if there are any logs or other info that will help.
