Yes it requires a collector to be built. That's why coders shouldn't test their own programs as they expects things by default. I haven't thought about a case where you do not build a collector 😀

As a software developer myself, I've been there, done that. 🙂

Constructed 2 reactors and 1 collector. as soon as i have built a cannon the game freezes. everything else works fine. it seems to crash as soon as the cannon tries to fire.

yep blastes seam ot have the same effect in my games too.

the game keep freezing with the infinite energy option activated, in particular when a cannon is built and fire the first time.

is there any way to avoid this problem?
the trainer is useless in this kind of condition.

Hey there!

This Trainer still have the problem of freezing the game if you build blasters and they start to load up ammo while you're using the infinite Energy option. Several people have the same issue as you can see at the message board.

Any chance to fix that problem?

There is only one solution to this:

Please provide a savegame with exact and easily repeatable instructions so we can reproduce the issue

Provide the location of the save file, what situation it is in the game, what trainer option to choose that is not working, what DLC or mods are installed if any and anything else you could add -> write this in your new post where you upload your save file

You have to zip/rar the save file before uploading it in the trainer thread

Create a new post, click Attach file/paper clip icon below the main text box, select the zipped file and submit your post as usual


It is crucial to provide all these information as it speeds up things extraordinary.

you can reproduce the error pretty easy:

1. Start a game (Tormentet Space, Prospector Space, Campaign, it doesn't matter)
2. Place the HQ and build a enegry node (green round building)
3. Activate the "Infinite Energy" option
4. Build a laser turret and wait until it's construction has finished
5. Game should start freezing as soon as the Laser turret is using energy for reload.
(This should happen immediately. If not try to build a laser turret close to the creeper, so it has to shoot and reload.)

This should reproduce the problem everytime at 100%.

I would offer yu a savegame, but I'm not at home for a few days by now. So if you still have Problems reproducing the freeze, tell me and I will send you an savegame as soon as I'm back again.
