So Valve has decided to make L4D2 free for a 24 hour period IF you download it off the store. Guess

While I believe that Valve should have prepared for something like that to happen, the fact that they were giving away that game for free, as well as the holiday sale going on at the same time, I'm not surprised that it went down at all.

Yeah I nocited the store was full for a few hours.

No one could barely do anything because of the people who no offence, to cheap to buy it wanted it free.

Some of my friends missed the deal because of the time and how jammed it was. Valve tend not to care about server upgrading I think, and think more on throwing stuff out than getting the servers sorted to cope with the amount of people.

I noticed every year, Valve has super bad problems with server load, and yet millions more people have signed up to Valve and yet they still have no upgraded their servers to cope with this.
