Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts Message Board  

hello mods/admins hope you can help

I was going to get the lifetime membership and before it did I researched my games to see if trainers are compatible and most are EXCEPT im having problems with one game I love dire,

company of heroes: O.F. and tails of valor

that being said I cant edit my ;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes

and I cant add -dev to the end of RelicCoH.exe listed to use a trainer once I have one.

it is all greyed out and none editable. I cant type in the box/line needed to add -dev at the end. what can I do?? anyideas?

im using STEAM version of CoH, I was reading some threads online here about steam and CoH but nothing resolved my issues. hope anyone admin or modd can help I would love to get trainer working/used for this game.

Try following these instructions to take ownership of the folder the file resides in. You may additionally need to check the security to make sure your account has Full Access to said folder.

daing that was a super fast reply lol didn't expect that.

ill look into it right now, then try it. ill let you know how it goes tonight. I have to run to town do errands but ill try that and reply later

hmmmm nope sorry........

it still didn't work, I am the only one who uses the computer its 100% mine and nnoone other has access to it... I even tried individual admin/owner rights nothing worked and also the whole folder itself and still nothing

I could run a stream on twitch.tv and show you what I mean if that helps in real time???
if that's the case though, it will have to be later I am going out the door in 5 mins, anymore ideas will help a lot

I transferred ownership to folder/files still cant edit -dev to name/target.....

im running steam client CoH package paid set and version 2.602 I play opposing fronts I don't like tails of valor.

windows 7 64 bit home premium
not hacked copy
and not hacked/stolen copy of CoH or account.

all I got so far and ill await response/idea

I don't wanna go all out and pay for unlimited membership just to see it flopp or not work at all

Try to open steam client. Right click on company of h in list of your games. Properties. Launch or start options or how is it called in English. Write to this empty space -dev. Thats it. You should write -unlock_all_missions if You want, too.
