I just retired the game. As said on previous game update the developers added an encryption, last time it was partly. This time it's full. However if the game would have a proper client/server architecture like the game ARK, there would be no need to add an encryption as an encryption is NOT an anticheat and will never stop people from cheating in multiplayer. It's just annoying for people like me trying to give you an opportunity to enjoy the SINGLEPLAYER part of the game the way you want.
But I'm not spending hours and hours after every patch. If you are not happy that the game is retired now, write an email to support@dekovir.zendesk.com and let them now that an encryption is not needed and all the time should rather be spent on learning how to code a proper client/server architure. Maybe they'll find some brain by these words and remove the encryption. Or they ignore it as they simple cannot do it any better.
It is not in the developers best interest to make it easy for users to cheat. It is in your best interest to make cheats for these games. I paid for a lifetime membership. My expectation is that you will not complain about the level of coding of the game developers. My expectation is that you wont give up becuase its "hard". Being a programmer for 25 years now I understand where you are coming from, it is not worth the effort for the amount of people playing the game that a cheat is worth you while.
How about a save game editor instead?
If you check our Terms of Service, which you agreed to when you signed up, you will find that nowhere does it state that we will provide a trainer for ANY game, let alone EVERY game and certainly not EVERY PATCH for EVERY GAME until eternity. We have spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS updating this one trainer *45 TIMES*. I believe that is called "above and beyond". And now it's time to move on since the game devs obviously don't want you messing with your SINGLE PLAYER game.
End of story. Game retired. Thread closed.
