This is probably a useless post, but I've been in a couple rogue waves both smashed out or survived. But it seems after taking over all but one of the forts (Charlotte is still standing but blown up to be taken over.)

I don't see much of any storms or rogue waves at all now. Does anyone know of a location on the map that has the high/heavy seas quite frequently?

Seems like a dumb question but its actually quite fun trying to ensure you don't lose all your crew in one fast rush from a wave and or interesting to see the physics from the heavy seas.

Thanks- SH5Hunter (wish I could change it too.....PhantomLegend)

Go fore (face) first into rogue waves, lower your sails and brace; no damage/crew loss.

    And, they are random afaik.

I wonder if there's a file that manages the dynamic weather system. Would be pretty neat to be able to choose what weather you want in the trainer.

Would also make it a lot easier for those forts that have the constant rogue waves coming from all sides. Charlotte and Conttoyor being some of them. At Charlotte I counted at least 9-10 consecutive rogue waves. Two of which took out a Man-o-war and a british convoy.

@ SH5Hunter: There has to be because there is a ingame cheat for it aswell (although you can't save any progress after using it just like all the other ingame cheats, effectively they're useless because of that)

I think rogue waves (and fog) are partially random and partially part osf the story.
Some missions you're always in fog, in storms of get rogue waves while when you're just sailing the weather can be anything..storms and waterspouts to calm seas and a nice sunset.

I've got all forts now and the weather seems pretty random to me, except for missions.
Storms i can manage but fog and sandbanks near a mission island while you're being attacked is irritating.

(btw. completely lowering your sails and using mortars helps winning seabattles, lots of other ships don't sail away and are rich for pickings (also, kill off all crew before boarding, easy takeover))

There's in-game cheats for the game?

I saw there was some for AC3 that you entered. I guess I will have to wait for someone to discover them then for PC.

You can get them by collecting datafragments
I believe you have to collect 60 or 70 fragments to control the weather.
But as i said, when you unlock those cheats you can't save anymore.
useless for the story, only usefull for replay.

What's the point on having cheats built in to the game if you can't even save your progress with them, seems very stupid I bought the game I should be allowed to use cheats.

That's where Cheat Happens comes in
I NEED ANOTHER HEAD FOR MY MERRY-GO-ROUND - YOURS IS PERFECT!
