You are not retarded!!! I am having the exact same issue. Every time I load trainer first, load game, at menu press F1, and the game just crashes with an unknown error.

I have tried both #1 and #2 trainers.

I could be wrong, but I am guessing your security software is crashing the trainer. You need to white list the trainer itself and an extra file that it added to your TEMP folder called ~Mnn133.tmp. I had both flagged as malware and the trainer crashed. I excluded both and it seems to be running fine. Hope that helps.

I figured it out, at least for me that is!!!

It appears that having this particular game installed on a separate storage drive causes the repeated crashing, not to mention many other issues. I installed on local drive, now being the only game to be there, and it works perfectly.

Is this trainer still being updated for Windows 10? I was using it last night and it worked properly until the update for windows. This morning I noticed the trainer was off and I start it but get a message "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software". I have tried excluding the specific trainer in windows defender and enabling the .NET framework in the control panel as suggested by the microsoft troubleshooting guide. Still not working. If there's anything I can do to use the trainer any suggestions will help.

Thanks

You guys do an awesome job with trainers, it saves me a lot of time with the limited gaming time I have.

Contact Microsoft and tell them to not flag the file as malicious and block it by default and then it will work fine.

Same issue for me I think. Game crashes upon trainer activation.

Antivirus and Firewall are off; Ubisoft hasn't updated the game. Tried alt-tabbing but as soon as I switch back to the game it crashes again. Not running from a different storage device either.

You have already gone through our Trainer Troubleshooting Guide? Link

You have the latest trainer and it matches the game's version?

Yes and yes. Pretty much alluded to that in my post
