when did america become "the World" because I thought you needed more than one country to call it a world series
Canadia is part of the MLB too. But, I think they call it the "World" Series, because players from all over the world play in the major leagues. It doesn't matter where you're from, as long as you have the talent.
Back to the poll, I want the Cards to win, purely because I'm a Yankee fan, and dislike the Red Sox by nature.
I am not going to hide it, I'm a cardinals FAN, and I saw 2 Boston fans Hold up a Stand up to cancer sign that was SUPPOSED to Memorialize a DEAD cancer victim, they held up a sign that had Cards catcher MOLINA on it. REALLY CLASSY BOSTON, did I laugh when the bombs went off on 4/15/13??? HELL NO. So for those two jerks to LAUGH at a MEMORIAL even for cancer victims, is INSANE, My Sis-in law's Sister died JUSt before I got to meet her of stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. So YEAH two NUTJOBS laughing during a somber event is like pouring acid over my sis in law's head. I hope they see how they acted, maybe they were drunk if so, Don't let them drink ever again...

If I had to pick a team, I'd go with the Cardinals. I can stand them slightly more than the Red Sox. I was really pulling for the Tigers, to be honest with you.
