Been having an issue with some of the trainers today. When I double click on them nothing happens, they won't load at all. I had task manager open when trying to load some and they appear in the application list for maybe a second then disappear. I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro and I havn't changed anything on my system in the last 24 hours. To be sure I even loaded a restore point from two days ago when the trainers defiantly worked and still the same issue.

Granted this is not happening with all my trainers. I checked a few of them and the trainers for Assassin's Creed 3, Bioshock infinite, Dead Space 3, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 & Uprising, Renegade Ops, Supreme Commander Forged Alliance, Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, Spec Ops The Line and Tomb Raider(2013) all worked fine previously but now experience this problem. Where as the trainers for Supreme Commander 2, Bulletstorm, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, Far Cry 3 and the Assassin's Creed 3 Editor all work fine.

I've redownloaded the latest versions of the trainers, I've set each of the trainers as trusted in my antivirus settings, I've disabled IE, I've tried compatibility modes and running as administrator but the problem still persists.

Apologies if this is a common issue but I checked the forums and a lot of people reference trainers crashing when IE10 is installed. In my case the trainers don't even load I get no notifications at all when I try to load them. Any help would be appreciated.

Nope Kaspersky. Been using Kaspersky since I got this computer a month ago and on the computer previous to this one. Rarely interfered with CH trainers before and if it did I'd just add the trainer to the trusted program list and they'd work fine.

Something is obviously blocking them. AVast didn't block them until several days ago then we got 500,000 support emails wondering why our trainers wouldn't download. I would uninstall Kaspersky and any other security software until you figure out what it is.

UPDATE: Just wanted to update this thread with some curious observations. The trainers listed above seem to be running and not running at random. Some days they work fine and others they don't load at all. I've haven't installed or uninstalled anything, hardware or software. I've made no changes what so ever to this computer. But one second they work and the next they don't. Will update again if I can figure out what the heck is going on.

I'm having the same issue. Sometimes they load, sometimes they don't. I've disabling every anti-virus program and still nothing.
I've tried the offline authenticator and it still doesn't work. I'm at a loss. 🤔

    Any ideas?

I figured it out and it is the weirdest issue I've ever come across. Its the audio jack. When I have headphones plugged in the trainers work but when the headphones are unplugged they don't. I just ran some tests on all the trainers listed above and its the same every time. Figured it out when I bought PixelJunk Shooter last week. Exact same problem, exact same solution.

I had no idea so many programs are fussy about headphones but now I know. Granted its probably more complicated than that but I'm not a programmer so I have no idea what it actually is.
