So, earlier today I was interested in cheating the heck out of Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy. But to my displeasure it did not work. >->
My problem: I start the trainer first hand, then press the F1 key when I am at the main menu. Game crashes out of nowhere, well it freezes then a mini dump occurs.
I also looked at the page I got the trainer from and out of question, was the trainer designed for the steam version. Or just for the standard "buy on the website" version?
I tried all the standard firwall etc stuff. Running it as an admin so-fourth.
Could anyone help me with this problem?

Make sure game and trainer version match. Trainer not tested on Steam version.
