I got windows 8 (regretting it right now), and the WIN8 trainer isn't working.
My game version is 1.05 and it's not working.
I suspected something was wrong, so I uninstalled my game and tried using the trainer on version 1.04, but still nothing.
Now I'm back to version 1.05.

My issue is this:
The trainer activates normally. When I try to use cheats, it says Activated. But nothing happens.
The cheats aren't working, and the game isn't crashing.

Has anyone got the trainer working on Windows 8?

I'm using Win 8 trainer, I've got Steam Ultimate Edition.
Trainer activates, it says option is activated, but very soon after that my game just crashes to desktop. I'd very much like to use no cool-down option. Has anyone got same problems?

Also - I've tried Steam #5 patch version - it just crashes on startup, even if using Win8 compatibility tool.

The WIN8 trainer only works with a single source of the game patched to 1.05. You can try uninstalling all AV, firewall and other security software. Right click run as admin on trainer. If that doesn't work, then you are simply out of luck. There will be no further trainer updates for this game.
