Hello, I recently downloaded the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Vice City Trainers for Steam. They have worked perfectly up to a few hours ago where neither one of the trainers now work when launched. I downloaded the Grand Theft Auto: III Trainer for Steam, and to my surprise it works, I have tried downloading the two trainers again but to no avail.

In my Task Manager the "WerFault.exe" process keeps appearing, signifying an error being reported but I cannot find what is causing the trainer to not load.

uninstall IE10

I already have Internet Explorer disabled via the Windows Features dialog box.

This does not uninstall IE. It just removes shortcuts to it so that you cannot launch it easily (you will still find it deep in the %windir% directory and can still launch it right there. You need to check for the IE10 update in your Windows Updates and uninstall it if present.

I looked in my Installed Updates, and uninstalled Internet Explorer 9 (version 10 was not installed) and all of the updates associated with it, but the problem still persists.

FYI, if this is not the problem then something on your system is blocking the trainers, most likely AV, firewall or other security software. The trainers themselves are fine.

The only security software that I have installed is Mcafee Security Centre and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. I have tried to launch the trainers while in Safe Mode with Networking, but again only the Grand Theft Auto: III trainer launches.
