    hehe sorry I could not resist. But I hope you do sort it bro Never really had to and I have never kept up with the subject so I always thought since me working at C3 you could always recover what was on the drive. Unless it was majorly damaged.

    Probably the only time I'll ever agree with DAB... but he's right that a single pass of 0s is all you need. I can personally guarantee that's good enough.

    The only way to break that and get the old data is to send the drive back in time.

    Face it, if people could do that, NO amount of wiping would work.

    Or we could request a trainer to Caliber or 0x90 to write us a trainer that when pressing Numpad 0, it will write zeroes to all HDD sectors! yay!

    just rewrite your data like a 100 times. Should be enough to get the original data unrestorable.
