I've seen no trainers that have infinite items. likely this is because (just as it appears to me) that these items are created and destroyed INDIVIDUALLY by the game. so it isn't just a single address changing from 3 to 2 when you use it. it's an entire struct/object being destroyed and removed for a single item.
it's possible to do this option, but not practical and nobody wants to try and reverse the object creation functions of the game at this point..
at least that's my view after looking at it for a bit..
I can see a practical use for infinite items with the proximity gadgets. For example on the Charlie missions. Plant tons of proximity shockers (or mines) and as soon as the enemies walk out the door they get zapped (or blown up).
Same with actual sleeping gas grenades. Yes, the crossbow can fire sleeping gas darts which means you can get infinite sleeping gas darts, but the actual grenades have a bigger AOE it last longer too.
