Yeah, that's the way I've always done it. It worked well enough though so I've never given it much thought.

does not work I've used trainers from CH for years now and i know when something doesn't work i did everything the trainer info said to do and still always had the same results i have read all the comments and i find it astounding that some people say that the 7.7 version trainer works on the 7.9 version of the game IT DOES NOT plain and simple thank you have a good day

taylor, you're obviously doing something wrong. As you saw, I was able to get someone else's working just fine by pin pointing a difference between what should be done and what they've been doing. The trainer has always needed you to be IN the level playing already to activate properly. NEVER load it at the main screen. Most trainers can't activate properly due to the game code not being loaded until the level loads. It's as simple as that. Stop being a prick over it and try to figure out a problem before accusing the creator of being wrong about his own work please.

Taylor, are you running the steam compatibility trainer before opening 0x90's trainer?

Does anyone know if 7.7 works on 7.11 because so far it seems it does not, or is it harder to make trainers for alphas?

The trainer still works for Version 8.

Confirmed on 32-bit - also, new ability to "install 32-bit" when you run from Steam. Make sure you are running on 32-bit before asking for an updated trainer, please. This version has worked now for the last 6 patches.
