So I bought sandisk dok and connected it, win instantly recognized and installed it.
I noticed two things when the dok is formmated to fat32 no problem transferring files but the transfer rate is very slow like 10mb/sec.
When I formatted it to ntfs transfer file went up to 250mb/sec but the transfer got stuck on about 95% and after a half minute finally completed.
So I connected my backup external hdd through usb and same thing happens(ofcourse the hdd is ntfs).
Any ideas guys? help will be much appreciated.

I can actually format the dok to ntfs or fat without any problems, my only issue is the transfer rate, another weird thing is that the writing speed in fat32 is about 10mb/s and when I copy the same files to a diferent hdd(read) the transfer speed is about 90mb/s and all is well without hangs or anything.
On the other hand ntfs always hangs at the end of the file until it completes the transfer succesfully, even with several files, for instance I copied five movies and the transfer process hanged five times!
I have no idea what's going on here..

seems some gigabyte mobos have some problems with usb 3.0, some guys flashed bios and problem was gone for some it didnt work depending on mobo/chipset/z77 z87 etc, flashing a bios if done by the book doesnt give much problems, except bios settings are all set to default again, so if you try it anyway be sure to make note of bios settings before hand
