I was wondering how to get around false positive viruses when downloading certain trainers in avast. Not sure if disabling the sandbox will do it.

well, I am trying to stick with free av's. I have tried the following and cheathappens cheats won't work with them in the following free antivirus programs:

    Bitdefender Free edition antivirus
    Comodo Free internet security premium
    Panda Free Cloud Antivirus
    Avira Free antivirus

The problem only happens for a few cheats (dead rising and assassin's creed latest cheats) for example with avast. Other than that, I can run cheats with avast and it's the best option over windows defender. If you go to av-test.com, they compare av's for use, protection, etc. based on the operating system you are using.

I have no problems whatsoever with Avast using Cheat Happens trainers, rare are the trainers whose download is blocked by Avast, and when it does happen I disable all shields, redownload, enable all shields again.

if I ever play dead rising 2 or assassin's creed, I am going to have to keep the shields off during gameplay. Because it downloaded fine without the shields but it still finds the actual cheat program as a false positive and deletes the cheat. I reported the false positive to avast via their report portion of their av.

    Use Microsoft Security Essentials.

It's free, and doesn't flag trainers.
