Upgrading from a 560 and a lot of reviewers of the 780 seem to also be migrating from a 560 (the Ti version). Every single review pretty much summarizes as the 780 making the 560 Ti look like some scrub low-end card.

I will look forward to installing it.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

I'd like to get it, heck, I'd like to get a Titan, but I'm not shelling out 1000-1600 USD for a single GPU. That's how much they cost here, GTX780 is 1000 USD, Titan and 690 are 1600 USD.

Oh dude the 690 is a dual GPU, so comparing it to a single GPU is kinda pointless :P

Half the Pixel Rate of the 690 and Texel Rate also and then you can compare. But when you do you will realize that the 780 will kick its ass, now if you have a pair of 780s vs the 690 you will notice that they will kick its ass also :P
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

    Clicky Here for them

Dude for the 3rd time I know! and that's not the issue here, he can get the much better overall 690 card almost the same price as 780 today, see link!

$300+ price differential does not equate to "almost the same price"

I didnt bothered to check out 780 price on this site but yeah LoopDaLoop is right the 690 price was more close to 1600$ until recently, so 1000$ is quite a bargain.

Edit: Btw the 780 price is 1050$ over where I live..
