I have used our trainers since then without any tools or help with multiple games. pwizard confirmed the trainers are working without the compatability tool for him as well. if there is another patch/fix in the pipeline then that's great to hear as well. perhaps there is more involved than just the gameoverlareneder...

The crash is pretty intermittent due to how memory allocation works, if &lpFileName[-1] is a valid address, it won't crash. Maybe you're just lucky?

could be. the tool will be available until we are sure this is fixed completely.

another suggestion is to turn off the overlay in steam options(although I didn't try that one).

calling it a day and turning the PC off. been a long one.

the GRID 2 and Borderlands 2 trainers still crash the game when activated even after the steam update about an hour ago
but if i use the tool the trainers work...
oh and i have the overlay turned off, i would assume this all will be fixed with the next steam update though..

there is another update on steam, I think some one must have use the trainer online OR had told steam about you guys find the way around it Anti-cheat they call...

will test the game & let you all know if there is a problem..

Update is out, corrects GameOverlayRenderer crash. I can confirm the problem is fixed.

Restart Steam then do "Check for Steam Client Updates..." if it doesn't show up for you.

ok that fixed the bl2 crash, game runs now with the trainer alone

everything seems to be fixed now... GRID 2 and Borderlands 2 now work as intended..
what a day!!! 😵
