I'm an old man and although I've owned a VIC20,C64,C128,TI994A,and an Amiga. I don't have any nostalgic desires to play games with their crappy graphics. I see they are bringing a lot of games like this one with the substandard graphics, I hope this trend ends soon.

Idk why you feel this way, some of us grew up on those crappy graphics and these games taked us back to the good old days, I mean how much can you play drally 1 and doom 1?! We need something new that it is also old if that makes sense..
I hope they continue to make these games it is a real blessing Imo, besides a game doesnt have to be 15 gigs with amazing graphics in order to be a great game, there are many new games that dont worth the space on my hdd and on the other hand many games with outdated graphics that are a must have!

I left out the fact that not only do these types of games have crappy graphics they are mostly platform formats with monotonous gameplay. This is just my opnion, if people enjoy them I'm happy for them. At least they don't usually cost much. The games I enjoy are in the 40 to 60 dollar range and usually have credits with more people listed than a major motion picture production!

Yes most of them are, for now.
I belive that this trend will evolve and we'll see in the future more quality games with less quality graphics.
Still there are a few buds of retro games with more substance like retro city, dont starve, hotline miami etc...
