$299 for this is expensive? You spoiled brats, two years ago that would have cost $5,000!
I think it's expensive because you aren't buying the product, but investing in the company with the hope of getting the product.
You'll note that PC Gamer doesn't seem confident it will deliver.
And if it doesn't, you're out three hundred big ones.
I agree with Thrawn, I didn't expect this to cost $300 per suit, but like Dhamps said, that's only going to happen if they get the necessary $900,000 for mass production.
However, if something like OUYA got I don't know how many millions of dollars, so should this.

Oculus Rift was looking for 250k. These guys want 900k.
