If you browse local files from your steam library to the Grim dawn install folder, open the x64 folder and right click on the grim dawn launcher there and send to desktop (as shortcut) that will fix the problem.
Tried doing this and even repaired the files. Still getting the same error.
Does anyone know how to make a reverse changes made to a factions rep cause i was mucking around before and i actually increased the beast factions rep to become allies with a positive rep. Now i cant attack any beasts. Help????
The Readme says:
Use hotkey or editor to change the reputation.
Tried that?
I am having the same problem. If you max out the reputation you cant kill anymore. Also the trainer editor wont undo the reputation.
Just a quick bug report:
Environment:
Windows 10 64 bit
Steam version of game
Most recent version of trainer downloaded and in use
ISSUE:
The Faction Standing piece of this trainer does not work as advertised. I am following all instructions (mouse HOVER over a faction member and press the hotkey or use the editor). Instead of behaving as the instructions suggest, the trainer picks a random faction and changes that, instead. Once the trainer has picked a random faction to edit, it will not change unless the trainer is closed, restarted, and reactivated. There is no way to predict which faction the trainer will choose, either; it has chosen factions that are not on screen at all. I have tried hovering over the characters and all parts of the faction standing screen (accessed via J key). This has resulted in some rather interesting faction standing (I am currently "Honored" with the Undead faction).
Again, I am following all instructions and have made numerous attempts to use both the hotkey and the editor. No matter which faction member I hover the mouse over, the trainer will not select it.
The rest of the trainer works as advertised. Great job with that!
Thanks for your time and any help you can send my way. Keep doing what you do!
Hi.
I think I found a trick to help you.
In fact, for the trainer to find the good reputation has changed, you just have to go to a merchant of the faction you are looking for. I mean a merchant who offers products related to the player's reputation level.
And there the trainer immediately finds the amount of reputation.
I hope this will help you and other players who may be confronted with this problem.

Edit : It seems I was too optimistic. What I explain had worked when I met the nomads but now that I have met the Domaine and the Black Legion it no longer works.
