It is not your Fault Vendeatha; the game has been patched by the developer to version 1.01. I would wait for the next version of the trainer to come out.

There will likely be a few patches in the next few days, the coop somehow got completely broken between beta (where it was fine) and release, so the developers are trying desperately to fix it.
