Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Message Board  

Well, just downloaded and tried the new patch for the updated 1.0.0.5... It dosen't work (at least for me). I put the launcher in the correct place like the txt said (and yes the previous version worked once I did that) but now it crashes the online mode while leaving the offline mode fine and dandy. These neocore d-bags really know how to all over a birthday cake.

I noticed this sometimes. a reboot of the computer fixed it sometimes. another solution is to alt-tab back to steam when you get the 'crash' after you CLOSE the game that crashed and then launch van helsing from steam. it will run the online version. THEN make sure to alt-tab back to the offline version that is still running and exit. THEN press F1 to activate the trainer.

again, don't blame me for all the BS that these developers are creating with this game just launching it..

So far i still manage to play the game with the good trainer make by CH the best crew.
But then, this game keep updating the game so frequent, feel annoying & frustrating.
1. temporary stop the game this moment due to the game keep updating
2. Will never buy this game in future from this game developer.

I know! this game dev is absolutly nuts about updating. Even though I set steam not to auto update this game it keeps updating!!!!! Now the game crashes in offline AND online mode!

ROFL i saw on steam helsing forum for the coop to fix they said they have it as nr1 priority to fix it and.... they said they got help or get help from steam devs to fix it erm since when do steam devs help a game dev
