Anyone here know a place I can find a video series of people actually playing D&D. I'm interested in watching someone play a whole story.

I have a video of paint drying. It's probably more exciting.

It's mostly to get a feel for the style of the game, since my friends would like to get something going.

I'm pretty sure you can send a PM to insomniac for resources on it. He's an expert on it and I think hosting D&D games with some other members.

I was actually in a weekly group until our campaign ended about a month ago. It's quite fun. Here's a link to a group that streams their adventure about every week. They've got a bunch of videos you can watch too. Link

And, for the record, D&D is way more fun than paint drying. That's quite an inaccurate comparison. Mind you, it's a lot more fun playing than simply watching.

Also, keep in mind every group is different. My last group liked to take the entire game with a grain of salt and make jokes quite often to the point where we nearly sold off the female in the group as a sex slave multiple times. And then there are groups that go full try-hard mode with no fun allowed. Play with friends. That's when it's the best no matter how you play.
