Feedback, Complaints or Problems

I'm having an odd problem with experience/leveling with both the trainer and editor. I posted in the Far Cry board but realized I should probably put it here. I'm running the retail/non-steam version of the game, trainer and editor as admin. (As an aside, I've used dozens of trainers here and they work great - thanks again for all your work!)

When I try using the Fill XP cheat in the trainer, instead of filling the bar it drops me to 990 points (out of 3500, currently). Hitting it again has no effect, xp stays at 990.

Since this wasn't working I grabbed the editor, set my xp to next level -1, everything fine. Got my next legit xp and leveled, with the screen popping up saying I have a skill point to spend. But when I go to assign it, there are 0 skill points available and my experience bar is showing 3999/3500 (??!). I added a point through the editor, set my xp back to 3499 and repeated the process with the same effect.

I'm not sure if it's a related issue between the trainer and the editor or maybe some bizarre corruption in the save file, but even with a fresh launch of the game with no trainer or editor running I can no longer level. My experience just keeps climbing beyond the current max points.

Any suggestions?

So I just tried the new editor, but it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem for me. I level with legit xp, get the skill point message, but there is no point to spend and my xp shows more than the current max (3529/3500) after leveling.

I first had a problem with the trainer (see above) though you only mentioned an update with the editor. Could the trainer have caused a problem with my save file?

If you would like me to send the file, I'd be happy to. Would just like to be able to level again.

We have confirmed that the trainer is working properly, only the editor needed to be updated which it was. No idea on how to fix the save file, sorry.
