Hey, I only got 2files in the
C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\Game Dev Tycoon\Local Storage\

Ive tryed to add money to those 2files, but non of my 3saves got the money, and yes Ive checked

Im using the "direct windows download" not the Appstore thing.
-Windows 8 Pro.

First time it was able to find the money
Editor even says it upped it to 9999999.

When i enter the game the money is the same as before the trainer

When i go back and use it again it says the money is ######99999999 where ####### is the original amount of money.

So it would seem the trainer appends the new amount of money instead of exchanging it.

It probably apply the changes to the wrong savegame. Anyway I'm currently trying to get it working for all savegames and while I am doing this, I'll see if I can add more features to it.

The Windows 8 Files and the Windows 7 Files are not the same just remember this people.

Also note that the first time you play the game you're playing the tutorial game not a completely new game, to skip tutorial click escape then new, then start then save then cheat.

If you're playing the pirated version of the game you game will fail after a few rounds after getting a message that people pirated your game, when you get this message you will no longer make money.

The trainer is a bit fiddly, I had to load my game, let the game auto save, use the trainer the let the game load as normal.

I also opened both files in the savegame dir with the trainer over and over again, and strangely I ended up with $10mil..lol

It looks like the game uses both file__0.localstorage and file__0.localstorage-journal to load a save game, well I'm guessing it does.

One thing is I could make a small request..
Add research points, there's never enough..lol

The savegame thing is a bit tricky. Next version of the edit allows you to add cash in realtime. Means it adds cash when the game is running. They used a strange way to store the money and moreover, the game's memory is messed up with scripts and if that isn't enough, the game creates 3 processes and I need to find a valid filter for the process the trainer will hook.

If things aren't working properly, don't blame me. I've spent 5 hours this morning and I'm trying my best to find a user friendly way of adding more cash for an Indie title. Expect the trainer update in the next hours.

OK. I did have a problem with the save file__0 and i used the editor. didn't work for a reason. So what i did i tried to manually edit the save file by going in with a text document and word(for some reason) but it was all gibberish. so i have up for 1 hour and came back to it. so i did open the save file that i accidentally made into a word file and tested it out... and now it works! I have no idea what kind of solution this is but it worked.. What changed after i made it into a word file? O_o

hi ch i'am realy sorry to say this but i dont get this new trainer to work i now you do your best and put many hours into but i dont get it working i do everthing from the readme but for some reason i dont get it to work so can you help me plz.
