Can anyone recommend a good FREE or super low cost Antivirus program? I've tried a trial of ESET NOD32, it was nice but it affected my system performance when I would run games. Also tried Avira and AVG, didn't like AVG at all, and Avira didn't pick up 6 viruses I had on my system, that ESET NOD32 did. So, any recommendations besides those 3?

Windows 8 doesn't have MSE unfortunately...at least that's what I remember reading. It's now Windows Defender I believe. Still the same product?

If you are after a free antivirus I would suggest Avast, because it runs in game mode when turned on and a decent system. Backed up by Malwarebytes it becomes a clean system
