Sorry but there is no resolution for IE10 as Microsoft changed some core feature for some unknown reason. You will have to uninstall it or in the case of Windows 8, dual-boot Windows 7.
Ouch...Well that sucks...How does this interfere with other features of the TM? Like it's ability to let you know if trainers are old or need updating...Or it's ability to update itself for that matter.
Also, Has another browser been considered? I know nothing of how this works, but if the problem is IE, then why not have the TM use something else, like Google Chrome or something?
I just tried the TM on my Windows 8 PC (which also has IE10) and it worked fine, all functions. Web browser, trainer checking, etc.
My guess is that something on your end, possibly an IE extension or addon, or some kind of security application is interfering. Also make sure that you right click run as admin on the TM.
I have got IE10 on my Rig all the trainers are working fine,my Rig is a standard Game playing machine with a pretty high spec, which I purchased from a store, why are so many people having problems with IE10..scrath my head.
