Here's hoping the patches slow down, they sounded like the last few days are just going to be for fun. Was looking forward to spending tonight messing around vs. the AI, but damned patches keep dropping like flies.

the developers are releaseing the game soon, you would think they wouldn't need this many patches 5ish days before launch

True, but hopefully this all means they'll be able to put a Day 1-ish patch to the release client to fix a lot of these issues so they don't plague the version we actually payed for.

I do hope it slows down/stops now, so Cal and the team can get a trainer up for this latest version and have it actually stick around for a bit. I know it's probably a pain in the arse keeping this bugger up to date.

Same here I mean I have no idea about trainers or how long it takes to change one when a patch comes out but it must be a while, for the sake of Cal and wizard I hope the patches slow down

It's still considered a beta - which can mean virtually daily new builds. The difference between this and a retail product is that much of the QA and testing is done by you, the beta testers, instead of internal testing teams - thus basically removing (it's still done, but in parallell to the beta testing done externally) the internal QA process (that usually takes quite a bit of time) and shortening the time for patches to get released quite dramatically.

This should see a change as soon as the game goes retail, as long as you don't sign up for any beta patches (sometimes available as an option via the Steam client) or some such.

There'll be a day-0 patch with pretty high certainty as well though, but the rate at which patches come should still drop quite severly.

The workload should thus also be reduced for Cal & Co as soon as that happens - I understand if they want to prioritize other stuff over something that gets changed on a near daily basis.
Amazing how they've produced a trainer for nearly every beta build, hats off to you guys!
