Annnd about this time I am wondering if Caliber is rocking in a corner somewhere... and wondering if the pain will end? Unfortunately, I am a dork and forgot to turn off my auto-updating in time before the last update, so I'm in limbo. Bought it on the Steam Summer sale and installed it right away, but I didn't play it till just late last week. Not overly worried though, I am sure an updated trainer will come around once the game isn't updated on a daily basis. Thank you for your persistence, Caliber. I have to wonder though if the devs are a bunch of apes throwing poo code into this beast. I don't remember a game ever being patched so often.

You can not turn off updates, they are forced from Steam.

You'll need to keep a copy of the directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2

Then put it back after the patch. Steam will think you are updated but the game will be the old version still.

Indeed Simguy, you are correct. I just rechecked and it was forced back to automatic update. What a crock. Thanks for the tip on how to keep a "restore point" on the build. Now if only I did that a while back I wouldn't be in this pickle!

Not sure if it's just me or not, but the new trainer isn't working. I can press F1 and it will say it's activated, but then if I press any key to activate a feature, it just sits there searching. It never says activated. I even let it sit for 20 minutes and when mousing over the trainer at the desktop screen, the mouse indicate it's looking for something. Please recheck the trainer. I have no virus programs running and all the previous trainer have worked.
