Shame the devices didn't catch on. Zune isn't a lightweight player but it's actually fluid and responsive (and doesn't feel like bloated crap) compared to iTunes.

Winamp greater then all 3. As it supports transfer to most portable devices. (Idk about iphone there was an issue a few years ago with just the iphone but ipad didn't exist then so idk about that too.) Like ipod, android and most mp3 players.

I would recommend foobar2000 over Winamp3 in terms of lightweight as it is designed to be extensible (winamp3 not as much). But seeing that I actually use the music store, kind of need to preserve that.

I use foobar2000, and I would also recommend it. I have iTunes for my iPod and nothing more. It crashes constantly, and is very bloaty.

I like using WMP. I used to use it to watch all my movies.
Now I use Xbox Video to stream them to my Xbox 360.
I would rather watch them on my 39" LED TV than my 15" laptop.
