There were so many amazing little details to watch and enjoy if you took the time to explore and not rush to the end. This game rewards that amazingly well. Like in the basementSpoiler:

when you pick up the guitar and start playing Will the Circle be Unbroken and Elizabeth starts singing, I was just stunned by the beauty of that simple moment and even more stunned when I realized just how major a role that song played

I didn't actually get that reference until reading your post. Well, that makes that little scene even more powerful than it already was. Thanks for the filling in

I saw that scene and liked it. I guess the Spoiler:

circle was broken. Should I feel guilty that I checked out Elizabeth while playing, given your character is her father?

Well, the ending is kind of trippy. Spoiler:

You're Booker Dewitt -and- Comstock. From what I understand, you were baptized in one dimension and became Comstock, and bought your other dimensions daughter that did -not- die. The brother and sister Lutence, I assumed they were alternate dimensional versions of each other. One born a boy, the other a girl, and a brother and sister in point of fact. I'm not sure if that's the case or not, but it's what I'll go with. Are there alternate endings besides you dieing and Elizabeth disappearing?[/Spoiler]

Guess you didn't watch to the end of the credits
    Spoiler:

It had booker waking up back in his "memory/black and white" room. I forget if he yelled for Anna or Elizabeth, but the way he yelled it, was like he just woke up from a bad dream. With all the powers Anna seemed to have, its my theory they pushed him back in time to the point when he choose not to sell her in the first place. As for the Lady Letuce"one twin" was the one that made the city float in the sky, and I know she was looking for her brother, but that is all the audio i could find in the game. Some thing happen between the twins and Comstock, that they felt they had to "settle the accounts" which is why they brought Booker to Columbus. Booker made up the "get the girl, clear your debt" thing from his past.

So, are you guys saying it's worth the high price tag on it?

It looks cool, but Steam wants almost $60 USD for it.

If there was one game I'd recommend someone to splurge on, it'd be Bioshock Infinite.

It's a great game and even though it only has one ending, the gameplay is really rich and vibrant and the game itself is beautiful.

EDIT: I made my first post all excited as the credits started, after my post I went back into the game to see if there was a movie at the end. Spoiler:

What happened is that in all the realities, the versions of him that would become Comstock were all drowned in the baptism. As a result, time was reset and no Comstock ever offered to buy the daughter to settle his debts: so he still had Anna, she still had all of her fingers, she never became Elizabeth, and there was never a city in the sky. In a way it kind of cheats us since none of it ever really happened, I can see why some would be ****ed off at the ending, even though I am not.

That's about £30 pounds here.... To me $60 would be standard for a game in the US.

$60.00 is much more than an average price for a game here.

Usually a game costs around $49.00 USD for a PC game, I think XBox games are more expensive though.
