Resident Evil 6 Message Board  

I just purchased Resident Evil 6 from Steam. Does the latest Trainer work for it? If any, what options don't work?

Not for me.
Tried both steam versions.
Box comes up saying"Click To Start program";
I click and nothing happens
🤔

The other steam trainer when clicked just says "Customized For Javelin" and that's it.

OK, HAD TO PUT TRAINER IN THE STEAM GAME FOLDER, NOT THE TRAINER FOLDER.

when i use 1 hit kill with chris i got 1 hit die too?

I'm ready to play Resident Evil 6 and use your trainer when necessary but to afraid to use it so I won't be until my problems are clearly resolved.

I am frustrated by the risk it seems of using any trainers or cheats today. In particular currently RE6 here. Steam says that Resident Evil 6 is VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) enabled and I have found no evidence on Steam or replies yet from inquiries whether playing any games including RE6 in single player only mode, or a single player campaign, or a campaign offline is totally safe from VAC or other anti-cheat software.

I'm constantly faced with two things here in CH. Either the trainers continue to fail until you seem too frustrated trying to keep them updated or this danger from VAC or the like banning me. I'm happy to say so far I have avoided the risk by not bothering to cheat--is that the unhappy solution?

The industry doesn't seem to care to make any distinction between playing a private game and playing a game involving others where cheating of course must be prevented.

How is this affecting CH's future? If I cannot rely on using your trainers in my single player games as they still exist it could mean migrating to the PS4 sooner and giving up PC gaming all together. I am already quite comfortable using the 360 controller with everything offering it.

Obviously we have no control over what games are VAC enabled and which are not or which ones are enabled for which modes. This is something you can take up with Valve or the game developers. As far as our site is concerned, it has no affect on us until it becomes EVERY game and I seriously doubt that will happen. Right now we are seeing this on less than 1% of the games in our database.

We also have no control over how often games gets patched, again this is on the game devs. I would say that as long as you people keep buying broken pieces of garbage and pay game companies to alpha test their crap, then they will continue to release games that are 10% finished and charge 100% of the price. We keep up with the updates as much as we can and will continue to do so until it becomes cost prohibitive to update and re-train the same game over and over.

BTW, if you're worried so much about VAC, then just pull the plug on your internet connection or put Steam in offline mode and play. I do that with ALL of my games on Steam and have never had any problems with VAC or being banned. We have probably 1000 games in our Steam collection that we actively cheat on almost daily and our account has never been banned from any game on Steam.

I've used trainers in lots of games the last 6-7 years here that are VAC enabled and never seen the first hint of any issue from it. Not long ago I played thru Resident Evil Revelations / Biohazard Revelations like 3 times and it also has VAC. No problems of any kind.



I recall you voicing these same concerns like 3-4 months back. Have you had problems of some kind since then? Just Never Ever use a trainer in any kind of online mode, that's what they're mainly looking for.
