Isn't FOX considered to be terrible or something?

They could've went with a lot more servers than needed and then shut them down later, like they did with SWTOR. Better safe than sorry.

Lol, saw this on fox a few days ago, couldn't help but be amused that it made the media. A rare thing, but proves that EA royally screwed up....

Pretty much like you said. No point in crying over spilled milk. The only thing we can do is hope they don't make another mistake like this. Or completely ignore them and their games in case they repeat this.

Early days yet, but people are so quick to call foul.

You have to realise this is a major step in terms of what is on offer, name another game where it has cities in control with so much going on at once. There isn't.

If people are patient it will get fixed, and don't blame EA for the programming that is Maxis who did that.

while it is early days that still does not excuse the errors, because while most if not all game developers now relies on numerous post launch patches and server upgrades the average gamer still excepts the game to work from day one so it makes no difference telling us to wait awhile or calm down(not you dabhand)because the developer is already playing catch up with a growing number of angry consumers it just comes down to not reading their market

Black&White 2 did it years ago, not at Sim's level but they still did it
