How do you start in offline mode?

sadly when using cheat or go offline mode you will automatic unable to achieve any achievements. But your hero still level as the same so don't worry about that.

trainer doesnt affect either way, you can get xp and complete, just achievements are not available offline as they are stored on bnet

That's the only way to enter offline mode? Talk about a pain in the butt. I can't believe Blizzard removed the 'play as guest' option.

I've used the trainer on wings of liberty and a little on HOTS (with crashes).

WOL was totally fine, didnt go offline and got all the brutal achievements. No ban or anything.

Use firewall to block incoming/outgoing for both "SC2.exe" and "Starcraft II.exe". "Starcraft II.exe" being the launcher, its a bit tricky. Unblock "Starcraft II.exe" while the launcher is checking for undates. Before clicking on "Play", block "Starcraft II.exe". It will take longer for the game to load though.

"SC2.exe" can be found in "StarCraft II\Versions", in 1 of the "BaseXXXXX" sub-folders. Always choose the "BaseXXXXX" sub-folder with the highest numbering. The directory of "SC2.exe" will always change with each patch, hence the need to re-configure the firewall settings from time to time.

What exactly will this do? Allow use of the trainer without disabling your internet?

It will block all incoming and outgoing traffic for the game. And will force in-game to go offline without disabling your entire connection.

How about I play in offline mode and build up my armada and save just before I am about to complete the achivement and then quit, kill the trainer and reload the game in online mode and load the save.

Safe way to get the achiv?
Or will it recognize my save as an offline save and not let me get the achivements?
