Tomb Raider Message Board  

As I never really played any Tomb Raider games before this one, I kind of liked seeing Lara like this. She got injured easily, was scared, but she got stronger as the story progressed. She learned more and learned how to survive better, her instincts were honed to a fine razor. It was great seeing her transform into the sexy, deadly Lara we all have come to know.

That being said, I obviously enjoyed the game and I'm hoping that this game means they might try rebooting the series with modern graphics and technology, maybe detailing other tomb raiding/adventures not detailed already in previous games? It'd also be nice to see her mansion in modern graphics. I -did- play one of her game for about an hour, the first one I think but I got bored and the pixelized breasts weren't enough enticement to keep playing the game.

Do you think it will lead to a revamp/reboot?

It -would- be awesome. I really enjoyed this game. She was tough, smart, and sexy. She was also real, you could feel her emotions because they were so human, her reactions to things, she was a great female game character.

By the way, what's the CH Promo Club? I've not heard of that before.

i thought this WAS the reboot since its a prequel or am i wrong?

I'm not sure if they ever said anything of a reboot of the series, just that this is a prequel.

I hope so. Considering the next gen consoles means better games not only for consoles but PC. Not to mention I keep reading and hearing about how the new consoles (specifically PS4) would be a lot easier to develop for. So I hope this means that they will bring new adventures for this Lara.

I hope they do continue the series but from this new continuity. Lara actually had depth and character development which was awesome.
