While I'm enjoying the game for what it is (an interactive movie with great graphics) I feel like it could have been so much better if it was more like Far Cry 3 (open world) vs. this linear narrow-passage scripted game that's more of an interactive movie that makes you press some buttons from time to time to advance the story.

And I'm not sure I like this version of Laura that much either. I liked her much more with the bigger boobs, sexy outfits, and sexy British accent. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever really liked any of the Tomb Raider games for their gameplay that much and rather just enjoyed seeing a sexy babe leaping and swinging around. Now they've taken that away we're just left with the boring repetitive gameplay.

    It's Lara,not laura for one.
And,you liked the pixelated, cartoonish version of Lara Croft in the old school games?

This game is awesome! I love the new Lara croft.
This game shows how she becomes a tough, hardened, explorer.
Showing her at first to be weak, with nothing, and, eventually learning how to survive and toughen up is amazing.
    Excellent story so far.

The only complaint i have is the QTE's.
They SUCK on PC,this game was obviously intended for consoles.
Apart from that minor complaint, this game is great!

Pretty much the entire problem has been solved for me, by using my Razer Onza controller which is natively supported. So I get the console experience, with the PC Benefits!

Tomb Raiders have always been Linear. Always one way, with secrets along the way.

Nothing has changed, OP is an idiot :P

There is no need to insult the guy. Just because you don't agree with his opinion doesn't mean you are given the right to insult him.

I'm of the same opinion as DABHAND though i would have been more diplomatic about it expecting a Tomb Raider game to be anything other than linear is akin to expecting a Bethesda game to be totally Bug-Free and work out of the box or for a Ubisoft game to be correctly optimized for PC doing so is illogical and will only lead to self inflicted skull bashing on a nearby door/wall
