Call of Duty: Black Ops II Message Board  

All this talk about banhammer scared the **** out of me...especially because I did use the cheat twice(not since then) and I really do like BO2 Multiplayer matches....

But luckily, not yet!

Although they seemed to be warning me against using trainers because when I entered Zombies, they showed a warning saying something like "Banhammers are banning hackers" on the page after you click "Online" and need to click on Continue to get to the actual game.

Yeah, it does seem pretty silly that someone can't play Zombie mode offline if they just want to play solo. That is just another reason for me to save my money and spend it on a good game like Bioshock Infinite instead of a crap game like Black Ops 2.

i tested the trainer in my other profile ( i have spare account with the game )
and for 1 minute only, i event not completed the round ( finished 5-6 waves and exited the game)
next day i found my self banned
wow, they really have strong detector

want to say its something on their end. some people are getting banned, others are surviving, but just by the skin of their teeth. i, by no means, am blaming cheat happens. i was under the assumption of solo means solo with no connection to the outside world. this is false. anything and everything zombie related is linked to leader boards. this, imo, is a design flaw on activision, treyarch, call of duty franchise hands. the problem is, some cheathappen users like myself may be mislead by these assumptions. please dont be. for now, until we can disconnect from online somehow and not be able to see any outside/worldly connections, dont use the trainer while in zombies doing solo. do however keep your eyes peeled if someone finds a way to make it offline.

Just got banned myself, I didn't even use the trainer xD my brother did. He used it on solo tho. So that's my £95.94 down the drain. I'm currently complainin to steam, can't be arsed with contactin activision yet cause their customer support is horrific. Only bought the game yesterday.

I got ban, you will too. They ban people for fun I think so you buy the game again.

i just got banned too for playing solo...god damn.

First off, nothing against the staff here, it's hard to know what developers have programmed into their games, and I know this wasn't intentional. However I also just logged in today after not playing for a few months to find a message saying I was permanently banned. I remember the last thing I did was play a couple zombies games with the trainer. (Offline single player only of course) The zombie trainer works, but is unfortunately useless unless you want to get banned. Treyarch apparently has a "no modding" rule and tracks single player mode during the zombie game type .

The zombie trainer should be pulled after everyone has reported the same thing to prevent others from getting banned. Or at the very least add an extra warning for the zombie trainer that pops up when you start the trainer.
