I get the message "couldn't find game code (1) (2)".

I wasn't able to use any of the trainer features.

When do you activate the trainer? Have you read the notes?

I start the trainer first, wait for the "Game not running" in red letters, start the game, skip the intro, get to first menu (start/exit), press F1, hear "trainer activated" once, then a popup shows up as previously described. After I close it, I hear the 2nd "trainer activated", but none of the options work.

That's the problem. The trainer notes says you need to press F1 INGAME. Where ingame doesn't mean main menu. Try loading your save, make sure your health is visible and you can move around and then press F1 and see what happens.

I'm getting "Couldn't find game code! (1)" after the latest patch (version 1.5.4 S, and it's been working fine up until this version) - procedure is as follows:

Starting trainer
Starting game
Picking character and getting in to the actual game
Pressing F1
Waiting until second "Trainer activated"

Before the second "Trainer activated", a Windows error sound comes up, and renders the error message above. When pressing "OK" on that message, the "Trainer activated" sound plays, but the trainer functions don't work. Tried starting the trainer after the game as well, no difference.

When I try to run the trainer (by right-click, 'Run as Admin') I get an error stating that Windows cannot find Users\[my name]\App Data\Local\Temp\~Mnn133.tmp. Anyone know what this might entail?

Edit - Also it seems the game has a new version? 1.5.5
