same issue, trainer activated sounded once, then error windows "Couldn't find game code (1)" came up, after closing that error, the 2nd trainer activated sound again but none of the option will work.
I believe that this is poosible due to the new update 1.2.2? though not sure why the update will affect the trainer.

The trainer still works on my end.

sadly i have the same "couln't find gamecode (1)" issue as the few others before my post. i really don't understand what's not workin here. in my case, the trainer never worked once. (old versions were workin with no problem)

So I have figured out why it wasn't working and it makes me a bit of an idiot... :P

You have to enable the trainer IN-GAME not at the main menu, then it works fine.

Can anyone of the others who got problems confirm this was the problem? Although it's mentioned on the trainer's interface it would be good to know if it's solved now for everyone.

Sadly, it is still not working for me whether I activated the trainer at main menu or ingame.
still get the error "Couldn't find game code (1)" after pressing F1.
I tried reinstalling the game and repairing the .net framework 4 but still no go

You MUST have installed .NET framework 4.5 (not 4.0), if you have it already installed. Please uninstall it and reinstall it (not repairing). See if it helps.

You are correct, indeed after installing .Net Framework 4.5
it work perfectly.
So sorry about this, I never had any problem with other trainer even when using 4.0.
