In the old days of MM gaming there were Saved Game Editors.
There was a trainer Elrond's MM6 editor that was on the internet. You could edit your group any way you wanted.

Wow, great story. Do you have that in hardback form?

You can try this link sorry if I offended you I am 60 and been playing old games since the C-64. The work you do on trainers is the best I have ever seen.

Yes - I used to play with an M&MVI Character Editor (still have it on a storage CD) that also allowed you to fully equip your party and, for the record, I am also 60 years old and an old, disabled Nam vet.
The character editor worked great on the original game, but I can't get it working properly on the GOG version - everything goes as it should until I exit the editor and return to the game at which time all my editing fails to show up in game.

The path needs to change I am 60 also and it took me a long time to figure it out.
There is a way to set the path I am sure you can do it. I only wished I had remembered how I did it.

I found a save game editor on this site www.tgdb.net/pc/editor/16087/Might_and_Magic_6.html
Hats off to the vet I salute you. I have spent 28 years in the Air Force both active and guard and reserves.
