When using the editor, it appears to be changing the stat modifiers and not the stats themselves.

My example:
selected character
switch to trainer
confirm stats match
change strength to 20
switch to game
stat sheet in game shows 20 but green, not white
click level up
strength reverts to original

tried various combination of locking and enter key but always same result

maybe I'm missing something?

Hard to say if the patch after the trainer was the cause, but no reports.

Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I can confirm its not changing the values permanently in game. Even if you change them and save the game they do not stay. This is a fresh install of the game.
