Do you think the gaming industry would be interested in redoing old games like Hollywood does with movies like for instance Red Dawn how about an updated Wing Commander series or MechWarrior series or Freespace even some of the old Star Wars X-Wing Alliance series cause some of these new ones aren't cutting it the focus is to much MP and SP is almost an after thought.

Baldur's Gate just got a revamp, although I am not quite certain it would meet the standard of completely re-imagined. Still, I think this is a great idea. There are so many older games that had great story lines that I would love to see redone. From the Original Zelda titles to Kings Quest there are a myriad of games that would be amazing to see from a modern vantage point.
For those that are simply interested in playing older games with modern compatibilities... check out GOG.com. They have a lot of older titles that run with Win 7.

Absolutely.

I'm a huge Halo fan and I've always wanted them to remake the first game long before they actually did.

I'm sure game developers could make a decent profit remaking old games since half the work is already done...

...maybe someone could start a company which focuses on just remaking old games.

Oh man, playing the original X-Wing or Tie Fighter with updated graphics... I would buy those along with many others.

Yea that would be awesome, there's so many older games with awesome story lines or concepts I'd love to play them again with the updated graphics of today's games

R-type and Dune would definitely be awesome remakes

Here's one some members might not remember this oldy "Anachronox" with sly boots the detective,this game is really huge its so replayable new graphics would be awesome the story line is brilliant,lucky for me i have the original game and one on Sold Out label if you ever see this game Buy it
money really well spent.
