hi, thanks guys for the great work,i have a problem ,I decided today to play some assassin's creed 3 cause I haven't for a while, noticed been updated si i downloaded the new trainer , did everything as I did before, work fine in the morning , but when I got back to it in the afternoon ,the antivirus alerted me , which never did on your trainers , so I disabled it , run it, the run the game and when I activated it , it crashed the game, tried several times, I even redownloaded the trainer and same problem ? any fix? thank you 🙂

Which version of the game do you own? Which Windows version and which security software?

Did you try to completely uninstall your security software and/or verify the game cache?

Good for health, bad for education.

windows 10, I have tried all the about , finally I managed to make it work, I run the trainer first, then disconnect the internet then start the game and works.

I'm having the same problem, I disable my anti virus software and the trainer starts, but activating it will just crash the game. I tried your fix, (run the trainer, disconnect internet then start the game) but it appears AC3 (steam version) can't even start without an internet connection, Uplay gives me an error stating an internet connection is required...

Is there anyway this problem can be fixed? I really could use the trainer right now and I've tried all the usual things to make it work (run as administrator, turn off anti virus, etc.).
But activating the trainer just makes the game crash.

From the readme/instructions.

General: CHOOSE AC3 VERSION FIRST! Select either Ubisoft Digital or Steam on the trainer.

Run the trainer with admin rights and select your game version in the trainer, just below the 'Run game and press F1 at main menu!' message.

Tested with the Uplay version of the game, trainer set to Ubisoft Digital, activated with F1 in the game's main menu and the options while actually in the game where one can move around. - No game crash.

Good for health, bad for education.

I tried all of that.
-Run as administrator, or normally.
-Tried running the trainer in both steam mode and ubisoft mode to be sure.
-Tried running the trainer first, then the game and vice versa.
-Turned off Windows Defender and Malwarebyes, who both think it's a virus.
-Made sure I got the latest version, 1.07.
-Tried running starting the trainer in the main menu and during gameplay.

Nothing works. Activating the trainer will play the 'trainer activated' voice, then the game freezes for a few seconds and crashes.

I suggest you uninstall MBAM completely, make sure you have created scan exclusions in Defender for the trainer exe file and the Work folder in this location here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\ and try again.

Keep Defender enabled and set SmartScreen settings to Warn instead of Block.

Make sure to start the game through the platform you purchased the game initially.
