Never thought I would say this about an EA game. For once they got a game right. NFS Most Wanted 2012 is perfect car porn in my opinion. No need to unlock cars. They are all available from the start. You just need to find them on the map. The audio sounds authentic for the engines. Handling is what I expect but could still be improved, but this is being nitpicky. I don't think it can ever be as real as the real thing. Very nice selection of cars to suit all drivers.

You can race or just plain cruise if you want. You only need to win races to unlock upgrades. Everything else can be done casually. For once a racing game can cater to both hardcore and casual drivers. If you want to stare at cars I recommend Forza 4. If you want to enjoy driving a wide assortment of cars NFS is as perfect as it can get atm.

I do have a gripe but it is acceptable from a multiplayer standpoint. You need to look at your gps map to know where to go. There are no onscreen cues. Would be nice to have visual clues on the streets for SP but it does make it more competitive for mp.

I agree about Forza's titles to stare at cars. So far, the free roam is actually not that bad. Here's my gripes, the AI is too easy even on hard. Fortunately, both Forza Horizon and Most Wanted 2012 are good, but Most Wanted 2012 neither lives on to Forza on the graphics department nor the gameplay department. The biggest gripe on Most Wanted 2012 is single player. It's too fancy and all, it's just ten racers to get the cars from the "whitelist". I like it, but this deserves a seven than a nine. Critics are too naive to expect the kids to get it.

Good For you that you love it , I honestlly hate it the worst one ever I would say my Ideea of PERFECT/Ultimate NFS > i qute myself from another post to lazy to write now

    """"
Anyway I`ll do like ..one race a week until the NEXT NFS comes out hoping that someone from the creative NFS team
wakes up and do a sort of NFS everybody wants and that would be some sort of a mixture betwen NFS U2(the tunning /music variety ) and the original NFS MW /Carbon great COPS pursuits
to make you spend +1h in a chase just for the fun of it + the captivating story where you really felt fullfiled and started screaming a the monitor after takin down 1 bad fella , and NFS CARBON because I really enjoyed the 1-1 canyon races and drift races. Now Would nt that be the Ultimate NFS EVER (of course with the latest graphics HD fully 3d ready etc )""""

WHAT Am I supposed to write HERE :D?

I do feel that this is a great game, It looks it, The cars sound it, It even feels nice to drive on an EA game for the first time since 2005.
    Well for me anyway.

My one and only reason why I simply just can't play it is the fact that nobody at Criterion thought to add at least hood View

I'm sure someone might be able to mod this soon, but seriously.
I just don't get it. Two views, and they are the same old crap we get in every damn racing/sim game w/e you like.

Other than that I really think it's a nice game, Small map, But nice game.

Going to be bold and say... Not worth £30, Well not yet.
    Ignorance is Bliss

I love Cheating with CH :)

Wonder if I can cheat on my Mrs with CH!

Thank you all for being respectful. I do agree this is not truly perfect. There is a lot from the racing genere that could make a perfect game if combined into one. But I think from an overall goal of game designers it is the closest to perfect. All designers want their game to be playable by all levels of gamer. This game addresses that.

Casual gamers can jump right in and drive any car. With minimal skill they can eventually find all cars and then later jump to any one of them to cruise in. Hardcore gamers can strive towards dominating each other in races by seeking out the modifications or just racing pure cars. This game caters to both.

I do agree it is not deserving of a 9. That suggests must own and I would not say this is a must own. It is definitely not for all and more than likely is not a NFS game. The reason I say that though is because I actually enjoy the races in this one. I own alot of nfs games, maybe even all, on pc. This is the first one I haven't said bs during a race. My current playtime is around 4 hours so maybe this will change.

To me nfs means rubber band effect in the races. It is great for those who can't race at high speeds but punishes those who can. I haven't noticed this yet.

I do miss a story mode in sp. The meet and beat style is kinda meh for a nfs title. As a lover of forza style racing though I love how this feels. However the forza style of racing only applies to mp. In sp it seems you are prepitted against a certain class of cars. There is no grabbing the Huayrua(sp?) and dominating a wrx from what I have seen.

I do suggest renting/ demoing the game first. It does have faults in regards to the nfs series but as a standalone game it is very well done. With NFS in the title though I understand the gamers who are upset. I am basing that on other sites as well, not just the polite disagreements here.

Will amend this later as I am starving and know my cohesion is shot. If this sounds disjointed I apologize and will correct it later.

Indeed playing the/a demo is the best option if you feel it is for you then go for it if not well ... wasit for the next one

. I for once am not so upset/sad that it has NFS in the title (quite used to be dissapointed with the latest NFS) BUT I am absolutelly angry and furious that it has `MOST WANTED" in the title , think about it many ppl that are not properlly informed or even dont look for info just because of the great title will run and take the game without even breathing expecting a NFS MW at the 2012/13 graphics... I am totally sure it will happen to more than 1 person* Just because of the title .... anyway have fun playing it unfortunatelly I won*t.Regards!
