So for those of you who have the game, tell us about it. Is it worth getting? I saw gameplay of it on youtube and certainly there is a good music that goes w/ the gameplay, but how long is the game? What about some modes? Just share your thoughts on that.

Ahhh the good old days of the Amiga come flooding back, I remember when TGGS Devs was taken to court by Nintendo, because it was close to looking like SMB.

But TGGS Devs pointed out that Nintendo must have copied the first platformer type Pac-Land by Namco. Which was about jumping and hitting things with your head, jumping on things etc.

Nintendo dropped the law suit :P But not before they managed to get TGGS off the market.

EDIT: Nintendo on a weird twist did allow TGGS to come back on the DS lol.

But what was a cool game back then, the developers shot themselves for doing Arcania (NOT GOTHIC 4!), and Spellbound crashed an burned, now the devs are back and they actually got funded for this title through the kickstarter system.

Interesting. So that's where the history of this game began...

There are so many games out there right now. I just can't decide whether I should get this or some other ones. This is looks great and I'm seriously digging the music.

Easily one of the best platformers I've ever played, simply put. The levels get longer and more difficult as you progress, and there are 23ish. Besides normal adventure mode you can unlock hardcore mode (no checkpoints), uber hardcore mode (die and you go back to level 1), and there are time and score trial modes.

The game is beautiful and switching between worlds is instant and flawlessly implemented (both graphics & music change on the fly). After a few tutorialish levels the game starts demanding you know how to use your abilities and switch between worlds in quick succession. Very challenging but so much fun.

Haven't seen a hiccup so far even downsampling from 3840x2160 with the game settings maxed (couldn't get nvidia inspector to work).
